Excellent seafood spot elevating dockside dining to a higher level. The lobster stew was awesome as was the lobster roll and oysters.

Patty our waitress was great, if she recommends something go for it. Whole fish of the day is excellent, and the "taste" items (tapas style) are a fun way to start.

A little hidden gem out on the pier in Portland. Get the oysters to start, the halibut in butter sauce, and the scallops are not to miss! Great for big groups.

The open kitchen is stunning and cozy, and Fore Street's James Beard award-winning dedication to local food is commendable. Mussels and a glass of wine at the bar are always an excellent bet.

Amazing fresh lobster that you can eat right on a pier and listen to live music. You order your food from the bar and then pick it up after your plastic lobster lights up.

Every “snack” we tried at the downstairs bar was incredibly good. Crispy fried pork, tuna crudo, spicy beef salad and bone marrow toast. Get them all.

Another tip: Harbor Fish's fresh picked lobster meat makes lobster rolls at home easy and incredibly delicious! Just pick up some rolls, and mayo if you like, and you're all set!
The fridge to the far right has Ducktrap smoked trout, mussels, and shrimp, all favorites on the Maine Foodie Tours. Grab your choice to go with some crackers and try to share.

Service issues have been worked out. Great oyster selection, terrific baked stuffed lobster and fried clams. Bravo! No wait at all on Sunday night of Labor Day weekend for an upstairs table outside.
Fantastic clam chowder. I still think I had better in Crystal City DC area but this right there with it. Trying the lobster roll as well. Good, if small local beer selection. Good wait staff.
