Nice, modern local family restaurant. Nice, small cocktail menu (Kraken Cream Soda and Vanilla Tart are A+). Varied menu with soups, salads, sandwiches, and mains. Everything fresh and homemade.

Very cool atmosphere, it was a bit of an older crowd the night we went though... Building doesn't seem to hold heat well on colder days so layer up in the winter. Awesome fish tacos. Will be back.
The renovated space is greatly improved. There is limited seating and ample standing room on the main floor, along with bar and kitchen. The food and beer selection is great.

The UG Classic Fish Taco is huge & delicious! Service is good and friendly. My girlfriend and I love this place. She gets the crab cakes. The craft beers and mules are priced right.
Favorite Oakland pregame restaurant prior to basketball games. Comfort food in a very comfortable atmosphere. Nice bar as well.
