Already gave a tip about the bar but the coffee is also amazing! Hands down the best Chai Latte in Oakland (they make their own chai tea). Make sure you get it dirty(two shots of espresso)
The house manhattan is the best I've ever had. If you drink whiskey, treat yourself and get this :)

Excellent cocktail selection (try the mezcal one). Limited, but excellent beers on tap. If you're not sure about what cocktail you want, just tell the bartender what you like & they'll figure it out.

The Maple Old Fashioned donut is the best!
Straightforward, unpretentious donuts. The regular raised donuts are the star (the twists especially so), though the old fashioned and buttermilk drops are serviceable, too.
Delicious egg sandwiches. My favorite is egg and cheese on a croissant

Nice beer garden. Mac & cheese burger is delicious. They also make a solid tuna melt.

Yes, it's all vegan. And tasty. Burmese red-lentil curry is creamy, hearty. Stiff cocktails like a Redwood Martini w/ redwood tips and Millennium Manhattan w/ infused rye (in large jars at the bar).
Crusted mushrooms continue to be dopehouse. They had a BBQ-y tempeh dish that was awesome as well. All the desserts are great, especially the strawberry shortcake.

This was my first time at this new spot. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious and the staff are very friendly. It appears the menu changes monthly.
