Sam Taub: From the bakery to the deli, everything here is fresh and delicious.
David Quick: Talk about sweet and savory check out the bakery. Everything from fresh baked breads to the most delectable treats. Ask for Sal the bakery Team Leader he loves talking with customers.
David Quick: If you want the freshest fish check out the seafood department. Whole Foods owns their own dock in Gloucester so it's always fresh. They get seafood 6 days a week so it has to be.
AskMen: Traditional and lesser known regional styles of Jewish cooking. Try the Farina orange kugels, a baked cream of wheat pie from the bakery, & don't miss out on the corned beef brisket cured in house. Read more.
Deena Freed: Amazing food. Just had the stuffed french toast special - apples, bananas, cinnamon and literally stuffed inside. Died and gone to heaven.
Ilana Katz: One of my favorite places in Newton. Move over Panera Bread!
Morris Porter: This is a great icon of american life. Hard to go wrong - great breakfast and wonderful ice cream & frozen yogurt. No pretense here, and the service is enthusiastic and genuine...a real family feel
Meredith Kench: Don't come on a Monday - they aren't open, but they are open the other 6 days of the week.
David Swenton: Cash-only; there is an ATM on site
