This is lunch life right now at Vonda's Kitchen, on West Kenny Street in Newark, NJ. Fried Whiting, Baked Mac & Cheese, Sautéed Spinach. Mmmmm, yummy, yummy for my tummy!! Don't hate!! LOL

You'll find extremely fresh meats and produce here. Clearly displayed Halal and Kosher items. There is a good, if small organic selection. They have an on-site bakery and prepared foods section.
They have so many halal foods. Not many promotions though.
Their food is delicious. Must try the Uptown's (Lemonade Iced Tea) Chicken and waffles topped with strawberries are great! & they deliver...

Of all the local, Ironbound neighborhood pizza spots this place wins for overall consistency, quality, and service (both in-house and delivery). Not really worth messing with the others.
Amazing Service and fun menu. Love their blueberry BBQ sauce. Skip the dry chicken dishes and go for one of their other fun menu items.
I rarely ever leave reviews, but I had to this time. The service here was ridiculously slow, food came out in about an hour. Side dishes were wrong and extremely bland. We will not be coming back here
