This is quickly turning into my go-to lunch spot. Any of the bocadillos rival what you'd find in Barcelona. Also, you could fill yourself up on FREE SAMPLES of chorizo & cheese alone - amuse bouche!

Favorites at Trufa: Basil Pesto Chicken Melt, gnocchi, the fries, the great, really friendly staff (esp. Karin/Corrine?), mimosas + pancakes for brunch, the hot chocolate.

Excellent food all around, but I really love the breakfast special - spicy Mediterranean egg sandwich and the *best coffee* in the area! The owner is a nice guy as well. Great spot!

You, too, can pay $10 for a veggie sandwich that sounds nice and claims to have e.g. mango pickle, but is actually mostly shredded cabbage! Also, iced coffee is watered down to ca 1/2 strength. Avoid

Great coffee, solid chai. The PB&J on baguette (on the counter) is a perfect little snack. Great bench inside and outside to watch Soho saunter and stagger by. My fav.
The kebabs are well seasoned and typically cooked to perfection. The spreads (all 4) are absolutely delicious. The halloumi with fig is a little sweet for my taste, but authentic.

Cheap, healthy and good. Its one of the ideal places in the upper east side for everyday eating! Good for large take out meals also!
