Lovely track to train in Manhattan. Never in winter.
Enjoy tennis courts, rowing, boating docks, and playgrounds along the West Side Highway. A peaceful running path is perfect for early morning joggers and bikers.
We much prefer this running path to the one on the East River. The view is incredible, and there's plenty of space for both runners and bikers.
One of the best bike trails in the city. Especially great if you can ride during the week. On Saturday and Sunday its jammed and not as much fun.

A beautiful, somewhat secluded granite park and monument. Fantastic river views and a unique look at the east side.

One of the most magical parts of Central Park...you would never know you're in the middle of Manhattan. Wooded area with tons of trails, waterfalls and bird-watching.

Enter at CPW and 77th to follow winding paths, some hidden and others in the open. There's a lovely one that cuts straight across to 5th Ave without the congestion of the other transverses.

Lower loop is always crowded with tourists... It hurts when you run into them on a bike and you don't get any extra points like when you do it while driving.
Great Bike Trail. You can actually ride down to Battery Park and make the turn to the East River Drive Bike Trail / Greenway and continue up to 34th Street with both Rivers in view.

Not my favorite place to run as it’s uneven.
Good spot to enter. Can get a little crazy with the traffic light and the gas station. It is about 1.25 miles to the track from there.
