Tablet Hotels: One of the hippest restaurants in Manhattan, Balthazar is never short of activity. Highly recommended are the steak tartare, croissants, mussels, and frites. Truly a touch of Paris in Manhattan!

Compass: Everything is tiny at this romantic French bistro: small plates, small silverware, and small plates. But perfected steak tartare and gratin make this a perfect date spot.
Magda Koj: Great spot for a date. Delicious food, especially the artichoke tartines, steak tartar and the croque. Enjoy a glass of wine and a desert as well.
