The chorizo was delicious!!! Also, the wine store next door is owned by the same people, so you can buy a bottle and bring it into Despaña to enjoy with your tapas with no additional fee!
This is quickly turning into my go-to lunch spot. Any of the bocadillos rival what you'd find in Barcelona. Also, you could fill yourself up on FREE SAMPLES of chorizo & cheese alone - amuse bouche!

Excellent sausage from Kreuz market in Lockhart. Wonderful brisket. Sauce was good, but could be a bit smokier. Blue Bell ice cream to top things if...felt like I was back home!

Sausage platter, sauerbraten, Weinert schnitzel, it's all good. Get the potato pancakes and Camembert cheese as a starter. All better with a liter or two of real German beer.

The breakfast taco was outstanding! Go for the housemade chorizo with organic eggs, stewed peppers and onions, & the guajillo-chile sauce.
Favorites: crispy fish, short rib, huevos con chorizo, maiz y poblano. Make two tacos by spreading the fillings into the two tortillas provided and try a bunch with a friend.

tiny butcher with some supremely high quality meats. they have hanger steak but you have to ask - they'll lovingly trim it in front of you. try the curry sausage or chicken burgers.

Try the spicy sausage on the make your own pizza. It's amazing and house made. Start things off with their spinach salad. Fresh and tons of feta & sundried tomatoes. Huge portion!

The salsiccia dolce (I'm not even a sausage person) and Parma personal pies are the best. Thin crust and just the right size.

Vegetarians beware: the dark side beckons. Along with some of the best cuts and sausages in town, this place makes sandwiches that are so good it's almost offensive. The roast beef is a miracle.
Know what you want before you order, as the lines are long. Our recommendation is the chicken & sausage salad combo, fully loaded. Absolutely delicious, but don't expect to do much afterwards!
