Incredibly unexpected Chinese-bar-food menu at an otherwise typical English pub. It's a great twist that actually works really well.

Hands down one of the best speakeasies in manhanttan! Luxury vintage atmosphere, amazing cocktails (especially the spicy one), and good looking mixologists. Take your out of town frans here to impress

The Peacock has a menu of updated English classics, like pan-fried trout, steak & chips, braised veal shank, rabbit pie, and several puddings. The Shakespeare has a menu of hearty pub grub.

The pancakes are fluffy on the inside with some crunch on the outside - so so delicious! And they top the cakes with fresh fruit. Yum!
In line at Penelope's? Come here instead. As the first Rose Bakery in the U.S., it is modeled off of other locations in Paris, London, and Tokyo. Get the fresh OJ. Such a gem.
Use the bathrooms on 3. Have them Toto Japanese toilets with heated seats.
A grand, elegant and mature way to enjoy a meal before a night at the opera. Enjoy their seasonal pre-curtain prix-fixe menu – the mushroom bisque and the crab cakes were divine.
Don't do a full meal for intermission. Not enough time to chat and eat. Do a drink and dessert. Second intermission is more intimate.

The English Breakfast is OK - better than Balthazar's, but still not a patch on a proper one from in England! Doesn't say so on the menu, but it comes with beans (not Heinz unfortunately!).

Where were you during the Royal wedding? Palace Hotel guests shelled out $150 for wedding slippers, pillows, English breakfast and a champagne toast the morning William and Kate were married.
The courtyard & the view of St Patrick's cathedral really are amazing. The rooms are a little dated & the entrance feels a bit Scarface. But nice nonetheless

Rooms are small but extremely comfortable. Service is amazing! Food is outstanding. The bar is a fun place to hang out. I highly recommend.
