ATL_Hunter: Really fantastic museum but honestly it's a lot to see in one day. The European theatre was amazing - can't wait to see the Pacific when it opens
HISTORY: The museum opened its doors on June 6 2000, the 56th anniversary of D-Day. The museum is located here because this is where the "Higgins Boats", vital to D-Day operations were designed, built & tested
Erin Keefe: make sure to watch the movie, you won't be disappointed!
Aubrey Littleton: Competition for a seat at the carousel can be fierce, but it's worth it for the novelty. The drinks are great, and the Vieux Carré (invented here) and Sazerac (a NOLA classic) are popular choices.
Food & Wine: One of New Orleans's most famous watering holes, this circus-themed piano bar has a carousel on its revolving bar.
Serious Eats: A great spot for a Vieux Carré.
