Lots of seating- it might be the best picnic spot measured by distance to the metro. I love to go to Marche Jean-Talon, grab some fruit, and pop down here on the Metro to have a little picnic.

Was here for Osheaga last summer. Beautiful park and a fairly well-organized festival. The train takes you right to the park, but be mindful of the crowds at the end of the day!

Beautiful place to go for a walk and breath health. A walk along the rue Maisonneuve it's advisable if you wanna see BIG EXPENSIVE houses... lots of green and flowers in the summer and spring ;)

The best place to run in montreal. 3km a lap inside the parc.
A bit smaller than Jean-Talon, but just as nice produce and selection of restaurants. Bike down the Lachine, get some picnic food and eat it by the canal!
Fantastic bakery and cheese shop! Everything you need for a picnic. No wine, so go across the street to the liquor store for 🥂
Touristy but definitely worth a visit! Buy cheese, bread, seat here and eat. Or take some produce and flowers home
