Not known as a beer bar, but it's draft and bottle list are worthy of it. Excellent offerings with the bonus of actually feeling like a local bar and not a 'beer bar', if you're not into that.
There is always something (or a few somethings) interesting on draught and there is typically something available on the beer engine. Monthly firkin tappings. Ask the bartender for a recommendation.

Tap beers are amazing here. Food is very good. But at all costs, avoid the very greasy fries. They need to change this up somehow. Try the Bell's Hopslam if they have any left.

Great homemade sausages and the fries are excellent. Decent beer list and the draft cocktails are done well. Nice and easy place to bring kids.

If I owned a bar I would hope it would be just like this. Great food and atmosphere, attentive bartenders, and even a nice nod to McSorley's in NYC with the two drafts. Nice touch.

A great soccer watching bar owned by a English guys. Some rarer English beers on tap and the food is very good. Try three full English breakfast and bangers and mash. Open early on Saturdays for games

25 or so taps, the selection is American and very rare, and stretches from coast to coast. The taps change quick here. Draft Magazine top 100 bar.
Mike Romans can be cantankerous at times, but it's unlikely that another bar in the city can beat the quality selection of craft beer that is typically on draught here.
If you havent tried a sour beer before, give one a try. Romans usually has 1-2 or 3 sours on tap.
