Try the morning bun. It’s a cross between a delicious donut and a croissant, filled with house made custard. Their homemade pies and pastries are the best in town.

Everything is amazing with this place; coffee is a selection of boutique local rosters, made to perfection. Key-line pie, pumpkin pie, hedgehogs and bagels - oh lord. Sooo good.

The eggplant parma is delicious but the true star is the vegetarian shepherd's pie - so homey and warm and filling. Best washed down with a pipe. It's a gritty grimy sort of place and it's the best.

Continuing the Haloumi and spinach pie taste test - it was crunchier than most Lebanese pies I've tried, more bread like. The filling was buttery mix of haloumi and wilted spinach. I will come back.
You can't go past a haloumi pie! Get a side of tabouli too. They do good coffee and baklava, too.
Actually this was the best of the handful of coffees I've had in Fairfield over the last two or so years.

they make the best savoury slices. a mushroom & a spinach with garlic one. pastry is cross-hatched on top with poppy seeds all over. they are delicious warm if you're up early on a weekend morning. ^^

Fave flavour of the month for me is the Mighty GM Pie (peanut butter gelato with choco crust & custard, and banana jam). Went back there for two consecutive weekends!
The best gelato I have ever tried period. And I am european and live next to Italy. Dulce de leche and white choc with hazelnut are the best!
Deliscious organic treats in a cozy environment. Sourdough breads are amazing, and I would sell my mother for the lentil and mushroom pie. Thumbs up for everything and the world. ;)
Get there before 12.23pm if you want lunch as they run out early. Wonderful pies though!
Quaint little bakery with a good selection of French style pastries for sharing... but in the cold months you may want to indulge in a sausage roll instead!
I love the Singapore noodles. Also they now sell vegan pastries and other sweets since they acquired La Panella Bakery. The pasties and curry pies are to die for! Staff are also very friendly
Vegan food yummmm! The Vietnamese spring rolls are the best I've ever had. The beef rendang is also really good! My omni son couldn't believe it's vegan.
Ironically, as a carnivore I can safely say this is one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne. Service is exceptionally quick. Try the Crispy Delights (E4) and Char Kway Teow (Q4).

Quiet, grown-up little pub with some superb meals coming out of the kitchen, and the type of crowd you'll happily chat away with until the wee hours.
Good value traditional pub food. Some good local brews on tap.
