Non-descript, no frills sushi spot in a two level strip mall with a chef who worked under Matsuhisa. Good quality, reasonably priced and worth checking if you're not checking for a scene.

Been going to Wokano at lunch for years as I am a working local in DTLA. However I have to say they're 3-7 pm happy hour is my favorite part of the restaurant (except for their reg. price crazy rice)
19 years I've been eating here.The best sushi you'll find in the L.A. Area. California rolls use real crab and their spicy hand roll is the best I've ever had! Not too spicy and creamy deliciousness.
