Go on a weekday to avoid crowds. A pound of shrimp and a pound of scallops for the shrimp tray, two garlic bread (another must) fed five adults. Everything tastes amazing and the service is great!
Try the shrimp tray for $40....the shrimp is the best!

The fried shrimp is to die for! Its been about 12 years but to me it tastes like the real thing! Good tartar sauce too! I get no coleslaw. The slaw ain't bad tho!

Tikka Masala Fish was very tasty, flaky, and well flavored. Mango Lassi was the perfect end to the meal. One can always tell if a ethnic restaurant is good or not if ethnics are dining there!
If you love spicy food, try the Volcano dish. Brought tears to my eyes, which is a good thing - though I suspect the kitchen snuck some Sriracha into the curry, and that's just wrong for Indian food.
Drinks are strong, so you get your money's worth. Excellent food. It may be in the hood, but don't let the looks fool you. Great people inside, great service, great music and always a great time.

Nice place,l liked the soup of lobster with crab, Lobster Macaroni cheese, and the lobster dish, I didn't like steak , the quality of meat👎🏼. the service was👎🏼. We waited an hour to get our meals

One of the best all around meals I've ever had and somehow also one of the most reasonable. Got the 10 pc nigiri w/ tuna roll and the toro and everything couldn't have been fresher and more delicious.
One of the original sushi bars in America, this popular Little Tokyo destination still makes very good sashimi and sushi. The yellowtail, salmon, live shrimp, and toro are especially well done here.

I had the mushroom soup. It was great until I bit into several pieces of julienned raw ginger I mistook for bean sprouts. That definitely woke me up!
