Kenji Arakawa: The "Trust Me" sushi / sashimi combo is just perfect. Fish is incredibly fresh and melt in your mouth tender. And the rice - that beautiful, warm, fluffy, loosely packed rice.
Pocket Sun: Simple menu to navigate. Sushi, rolls and sashimi are pretty much all there is. Excellent quality, housemade ponzu and soy, rice melts in your mouth. No dessert. The wait is about 45-60 mins.
Connie Chiu: Honestly, the unagi was the best. The tuna sashimi second. Their policy of no outside food is super strict. Wouldn't let us celebrate a birthday with a tiny cake and the restaurant wasn't even busy.

Alex Sandars: Hot dishes. Cold. Sashimi. It's all best here. The decor screams 80s and it's a nice romantic touch that it hasn't been altered at it's essence since Nobu Matsuhisa opened it in that decade.
Jessica Chan: Dare I say I love this more than nobu?? The black cod, spinach salad, taco, and salmon sashimi are incredible
Susan Darling: Matsuhisa the man was here the night we are in. All of the dishes are well prepared and delicious. I would ask the server for their suggestions. Tempura crab claw and all the sashimi was my fave
Giancarlo S.: Rock Shrimp Tempura is a must. Try the Salmon topped with caviar, which isn't on the menu. Good ones are Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, and the Yellowtail Sashimi w/ Jalapeno.
Erick Barbor: My favorite sushi in LA. Spicy tuna crispy rice, rock shrimp tempura, albacore crispy onions, baked crab hand roll and yellowtail sashimi w/ jalapeno. You can't go wrong!
Angela Leus: Fav LA Restaurant - Best dishes (all a must):baked crab hand roll, creamy rock shrimp tempura, crispy rice w/spicy tuna, yellowtail sashimi w/jalapeno & if luckily available, toro w/crispy spinach special
