One of the best ramen places I've been to. Try to go in the morning or late afternoon to avoid crazy lines!
Get the gyoza, daikokuya ramen with kotteri soup base, and the shredded pork rice. Amazing!

Get the combo of ramen plus any bowl and salad. The ramen portion isn't that big so you'll definitely be able to to finish the combo meal
The spicy tonkatsu pork belly ramen is the best.
Delicious ramen, but very rich. Get the Tonkatsu topped with pork belly!

I've tried other ramen joints, and nothing beats Shin-Sen-Gumi. It is a little bit of a wait to be seated, but it's 100% worth it! The service is excellent as is the Hakata ramen!
My absolute favorite ramen! You can choose the firmness of the noodle and choose your toppings--flavored eggs, kimchi, spinach, garlic--to be added as you like. Nom nom!
Order the Bold Ramen and indulge in some rich broth and charred chicken. The soft boiled egg is an amazing bonus.

Chashu is fantastic here, the best of any ramen place I've had yet (incl Shinsengumi, Santouka, Yamadaya). I like tsukemen at Yamada-ya better though.
Tsujita LA serves the best standard ramen and tsukemen in all of Los Angeles. The tsukemen might even be better than the ramen. Only available during lunch and cash only. [Eater 38 Member]
The wait for a seat can be killer. The tsukemen is fantastic the noodles are nice and chewy and the pork is so rich and fatty. Great combo and different than your typical ramen house.
Cash only. Spicy miso ramen with salmon roe over rice. Best, most consistent ramen in LA, this is my opinion after trying 7 other spots.

Inside the Mitsuwa Marketplace's food court, the signature shio (salt tonkotsu) ramen is excellent. The soy marinated chashu pork is as tender and sweet as pork gets.
If you want a ridiculously amazing dinner, take the chef's suggestions and order all the signature dishes - it will succeed in blowing your mind!! Best Ramen I've had to date!
The spicy chicken ramen (karamen) is one of the best i ever had. Delicious menu, affordable!

The red ramen is sweet and savory, one of my fav broths! You can't change up thin noodles for thick ones on the iPad but ask one of the cute male servers and they'll gladly oblige ;)

Order the Tsukemen (Dipping-Style Pork Tonkatsu Ramen) with an Extra Egg & Extra Char-Siu. The Big Bowl is quite filling so maybe order the regular size. Add some Onikasu Chilli & 3 Spoons of Garlic👍

Come here if you're craving rich and delicious ramen broth. Their noodles aren't great and their egg is all wrong but the tokushima broth is so good.

Personally, my favorite ramen in LA. The Tonkatsu-Shoyu is where it's at - broth is super rich & savory. Take it to the next level by adding the spicy habañero miso.

Try the Japanese ramen soup ---- best in the city! They even give you a side of marinating boiled egg to pour on top of your ramen bowl and a side choice of natto and rice.

You MUST try their spicy ramen. The noodles are prefect: not too hard, not too soft. The broth is so tasty, not watery, not too salty either. And their chashu has a nice browning. Best ramen in LA!
