LA finally makes good on true Tex-Mex (Aus-Mex, actually) style breakfast tacos and proper queso. Transplants will feel so at home, they'll think a trip to the Broken Spoke or SoCo will follow...

Love the ricotta squash, z’atar cauliflower, and goat cheese scallion bacon pizza! So good. The dough is thin and crispy. Gets crowders early but ask for bar seating.
I'm not one for conformity but you have to go with the recommended sandwich: double dipped lamb with bleu cheese covered in hot mustard! also try the cole slaw with hot mustard, yum
My favorite is the Beef and Blue Cheese sandwich, and their macaroni salad. The coffee for 9 cents is good too.
Double dipped beef with cheddar is the way to go. Pair with a cold beer and don't forget to add a little mustard as you eat it

Amazing Italian but so busy so kinda slow. The creste rigate is hands down the best pasta. Ricotta crostini, calamari, burrata, squash blossom, and brussels parm salad were amazing. Love the donuts.
Must get the ahi sandwich (+ lobster mac of course) best sandwich in LA - maybe west coast.

AOC has lost a little lustre in my eyes. A little pricey and food is good, but not off the charts. Much prefer Cube on La Brea. Amazing cheese and the food is phenomenal!
