Sea Bass was insane, lamb bing and honey butter bing were so good, macaroni & chickpea blew my mind. Cocktails were rad too.
Everything was just great. The boneless chuck short rib looked delicious enough BEFORE they add the melted cheese! Definitely recommend.
Food is good, but just not on the same level as his stunning NYC restaurants.
The hot sour soup is delicious. Sandwich with pork belly and scallion bun is delish. Mapo tofu is Taiwanese style and uses silken tofu

This is amazing Hawaiian food, with a heavy emphasis on Korean flavors. The beef Jun, a fried beef cutlet. The purple rice is so different. It’s in a nice food court in santee alley.

No words for how delicious the food is. Get the fried chicken sandwich with avocado mash (best I’ve ever had), the spam masubi, and shrimp fritters (so buttery). The owners are so nice too!
the imperial rolls are so umami and delicious! the pho banh cuon is also yummy - all the flavors of pho in roll form.

Go long pork. The sour pork and crispy rice salad tastes is as weird and good as it sounds. The pork toro, aka the grilled pork collar, is like bacon from the Thai gods with tangy spicy chili sauce.

Hidden, low key and really yummy! Had the vegetarian mushroom and egg bowl and loved it. Friendly staff.
Good banchan. Legit. Crowded. Everyone orders the galbi jjim even though it's expensive ($55) and huge so you need to share it. If alone and looking to save some $ try the short rib & cabbage soup.

Best lunch place mid-Wilshire. Don't let the unglamorous facade scare you away. Order a split Genkie Bowl with veggies (chicken and beef rocks). And don't skip the green onions!

The most amazing omakase and chill vibe. Every course was delicious, unique, clean (in that crisp way). Fav was uni on tapioca toast, short rib, dungeness chawanmushi, and the sweet potato dessert.

Authentic Taiwanese food! I'd highly recommend this place. It can get busy for parking but it's a great area to hang out especially during the weekends when there's outdoor farmers market.
