Highly recomended, as friendly as cafes come. Excellent English breakfasts and Italian cafe nosh. My favourite local breakfast spot.

Cosy and festooned with hops, brews its own beer and has some hard to find bottles at not-ridiculous prices. Locally microdistilled spirits. Laid-back, friendly staff. Wine & food looks great.

Recently refurbished, The Plough is a hidden gem popular with East Sheen locals. This friendly pub features a weekly quiz, live accoustic music and quality gastro-pub food. Easy on-street parking.

One of the best pubs in the summer. Also a bit of a hipster spot so you might see some people that are a bit full of themselves. Good food too but the menu constantly changes.
This is the ultimate Notting Hill local. A classic pub with an ever changing menu keeps this place a favourite in the area. Lunch is served Thursday through Sunday, so a weekend Lunch is perfect.

My local and therefore my favourite. Always a bit too crowded but lovely, especially on calmer weekday evenings. Nice terrace at the back and good food selection, too.
Love this pub, especially in the winter when they do hot cider and mulled wine. Teamed with a browse through the pretty shops on Columbia Road it's always a winner of a day.

Grab a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord Ale... anytime. Such a great boozer and in the summer the beer garden out the back is superb. Foodwise there is a fine chees selection.
Why did I take so long to come here? The best!!! Local staff, cute interior, incredible steak, perfect ale pie & even the house red was delicious. Will be back!

A hidden gem that has been serving Holland Park since 1969. Try the Lobster spaghetti followed by the Eton Mess. Delicious.
