Damian: Cute hipster coffee shop. Free wi-fi for 1 hour, and plenty of outlets for plugs. Coffee is reasonably priced and staff are quirky. Music is club remixes and pop, sometimes quite loud.
Nikkayla Henricksen: Probably the best Flat White I've found outside of Australia. Plus, who doesn't love the hipster-ness of being able to buy BitCoins while you wait?
5t3vi3 Whitehead: Amazing flat white, very hipster, cute and quirky decor. Nice place to drop in, ... don't miss the White Cube gallery and Fashion & Textile museum on Bermondsey High Street

Sam M: Fantastic pizza (worth the wait), good-not-great beer, wall-to-wall hipsters, reggae/dub/minimal techno music, nice canal-side drinking if you can get a seat (unlikely).
Fon Star: Fantastic pizza!! Tasty and good value. Beer is nice too. And even if other tips are talking about hipsters, I did not find it pretentious at all. I will come back for sure.
Shannon Low: Great place for an afternoon beer in the sun by the river. Cool vibe, lots of space outdoors, very hipster.

Adam Smith: I don't think I've ever seen such a high concentration of hipsters in one place. It might have been interesting before the wank-invasion but now it's a case of head-down and keep walking.

Papa Shango: Boycotted by the local community. This place is killing e8 so quickly. Full of pretentious hipsters and bankers on their day off. Avoid.

Pizzeria · 92 tips and reviews
Christian: Pizza is seriously underwhelming. Little taste but quite greasy. Music is great though. And the audience is painfully hipster, which is quite fun.
Ale Tower: You will not find more jerks behind a counter than in this place. And the pizza is shit. Hipsters will think it's cool to go there, which is another negative.
Nikita N: A slice is filling enough to be worth the cost and tastes alright. Typical Dalston mix of hipsters and yuppies.

Sam Michel: Awesome coffee, despite the slightly slow service and grumpy hipster staff. Maybe just the day I went in.
Андрей Тимофеев яблоко: Must be the biggest concentration of hipsters per square meter in London, :D. Also, not many coffee shops know how to make americano/long black correctly. This is not the case, here.
Eric V: Excellent coffee + hipster people-watching

Jonas Wendler: Went there because of all the recommendations, but was slightly disappointed. The music was decent, but it takes ages to get a drink or use the restrooms. The hipster vibe simply attracts, I suppose.
Sophie Bakalar: Quintessential hipster coffee shop in Shoreditch. Free wifi, lots of space, big windows, and great food/coffee. Not a ton of outlets; busy but not hard to get a table.

Sam Michel: Lovely coffee but like its fellow hipster coffee joint Shoreditch Grind, it's best not to come here if you need speedy service.
Roman Mittermayr: First impression: wow. But it goes a bit down from there. Eggs Benedict look poor (see photo), service brought all food in completely random order and espresso smells sour (not just hipster bitter).
Alex Gonzalez: Good but overprized coffee. Hipster ambience. Slow service.
