A beautiful little cafe with amazing udon and other Japanese treats. The cold udon with sesame dip was a highlights. Order toast and spreads for fun schmere-able treats you weren't expecting.
Authentic small Japanese place hidden in the Kingsland basin. Try the cold Soba with sesame dip, a very unique dish and difficult to find out of Japan.

Short rib & pork belly were delicious. The pitta is really excellent. And the dips are amazing - we had the creme fraiche with harissa oil and the aubergine. Cocktails are great too.
Not all about the meat - great veggie options like the cauliflower shawarma, beets and dips. Be prepared to squish up with strangers though.

Loved the hummus and mushroom. Spicy dip was also great with a kick.
It's hard to choose a favourite dish when everything is so good. But if I must the the Jerusalem bagel with chilli dips and the chicken abu kalmash cannot be missed!

The pastrami and Swiss burger is the best thing on the menu. The Peckham dip (with bone marrow dipping sauce) is excellent too. As are the monkey fingers and chilli fries. Wash down with Game Over.
Great menu with some quirky stuff. No desserts, I defy anyone to want one after mains!! Monkey fingers and Peckham dip a must.
We loved the atmosphere and the frendly staff. Tried 3 dips and 3 vegetarian dishes...so tasty and well presented, with that taste of greece. panna cotta a the Ceru pale ale was just perfect.
Portions are quite generous - the dips especially, suggest the Three in One option

12 July: Take a dip in Hampstead's Bathing Ponds, notable for being the only life-guarded open-water swimming facilities in the UK which are open to the public every day all year round.
Beautiful settings, bracing temperatures and a quirky, dedicated troupe of regulars, including the ducks and swans, all set Hampstead Heath's ponds apart.
The Men's and Ladies' Ponds are open all year round but to use the Mixed Pond in the winter season you must join the Hampstead Heath Winter Swimming Club.

Kubaneh with dips (Muhammara, Babaganoush), octopus. Polenta is a must! Order it. Portions not huge. To see the action and chat, sit at the bar. It’s NOT quiet. Walk in for 2 usually possible.
Get the steamed mussels with hot, crusty bread to dip in the flavorful broth! Use a half shell to scoop up even more sauce.
