Tasty main dishes and sides. Tea is great too (tried green tea) downstairs. A Chinese friend told me the custard buns are some of the best he ever had. A bit pricey maybe but quality is good.
Very good pork buns and probably best sweet custard bun I've ever had! The middle was so oozey that I couldn't even take a photo bc my hands were so messy. Yum!
Buns: My favorite is the mushroom, then the pork, then the custard. Can’t get myself to like the others.

The custard fishies are soooo delicious. Attracts people from outside as well since they cook them just in front of the window. So interesting! 🐟

Cafe de Nata is a quintessential part of Portuguese tea time , scrumptious Pastel de Nata and savouries. Combine these with a cup of tea or coffee and you will be happy as a clam in high-tide. 😋😋

These pasteis de nata are incredible! Best in London, as good as those in Portugal. Get a box to take home - reheat in the oven 7-8 minutes then add cinnamon & icing sugar - delicious!
Doughnuts were advertised as the best I would have tried so far, the thing is, they actually were. The vanilla & custard cream was really really good!

I have tried pastel de nata at several places in London and although I'm not Portuguese I can say for sure that these ones here are AMAZING! Best in London! Especially the ones with raspberry!
The pastry is thinner and the custard sweeter than traditional pastéis de nata. On the plus side, they're served warm.
Simple takeaway coffee & natas, Portuguese custard tarts. Coconut, apple & cinnamon, blueberry or raspberry are a few flavour. Super fresh but quite sweet compared to others I’ve had.

Enjoyed a nice evening there with great service - if possible seat in middle of restaurant where there is the most buzz. Very comprehensive wine list and helpful sommelier.

Loads of people have mentioned it but the Portuguese egg tarts are amazing.
Double ristretto is wonderful, and a cake of course, try the friands or the portuguese custard tarts
I think I can speak for most people when I say that the custard tarts alone are worth a trip to the the Pill Box Kitchen! Great food, good prices, excellent music, and service with a smile.

Very tasty, good value. Nice staff. Delicious pastel de nata (and I usually don’t think much of these). Would recommend the African rice too. Vinho verde overpriced.

I tried the custard doughnut and it was okay. I believe it would’ve tasted so much better without any filling (it’s all about the dough).
Excellent bakery! Worth to try. Also it located in quiet area. Don’t miss "Vanilla Custard" it was the best seller and really delicious. Limited seats and sure recommended!
