Awesome gallery, particularly the ancient Greek and Egyptian collections and Caravaggio's St. John the Baptist. Having seen MANY Caravaggios in Europe, have to say KC is LUCKY to have this one.
Lots of favorites here. The silver work in the European religious gallery is breathtaking. Love the American furniture upstairs and beadwork in American Indian gallery. Go back again & again!
The abstracts on display right now are amazing and I don't usually like abstracts. There is a great Cindy Sherman photo in the back gallery.
A small (and free!) gem of a modern art gallery. It has pieces from big names (Warhol and O'Keefe), excellent photography and sculpture collections and a very good on-site cafe.

The gem of Kansas City. If you're visiting KC, this is a must-see! If you live in KC and haven't been, shame on you! The main gallery is superb; and you must take a ride up the tower.
Whether you come here for remembrance or the view, you must visit it while in KC.

Quality meat and an expansive beer selection. Highly recommend their steaks, short ribs and the dry aged steak burger. If it's nice, head out to the patio with a drink!

It’s pronounced “block”. If you say the “ch” sound, people will laugh at you. Not the staff, they’re nice, just like some people. I mean, nobody’s ever laughed at me, but you can never be too careful.
These people really get it! wander around with a glass of wine in beauty and culture that is no pressure and not pretentious. I feel so comfortable, cultures and at home here. Wine, beer, food, fun.

I've been there for three weddings, like the sit down dinner the best. The patio was tented, didn't have enough heaters, it was freezing, they didn't plan very well! Other than that, it was good.
