Nicole Valles: Ultra- hidden and low key. I love hiding out here.
Susan Suarez: It's a good mix of old and young, neighborhood people and college students. Dark and easy to hide out and chill in. There's a lot or room in back too. Women's room has 2 stalls and was clean.
Nick G-M: Solid burger, reasonable prices, good music, classic bar atmosphere (brick, wood, etc.). What more do you need?
Samantha L.: Tea NJ is a fantastic eatery, with plenty of tea and beverage options, with a full menu of healthy and savory foods. Super friendly, hospitable staff and very chill, relaxed vibe. Also they deliver!
Krissy Kristine: This place is awesome, I wish I found it sooner. I stumbled upon it yesterday. I’m definitely going to revisit. Food was good and as for the atmosphere it was chill. “A gem off the radar” cafe.
Maria Maximova: The place is amazing! Drinks are amazing too! Food is delicious! 😍😍😍

Francisco Ribeiro: Very relaxing atmosphere, great place to sit at the bar and talk. I had the El Pastor pulled pork taco, delicious. (A bit heavy on the cilantro though) For the dessert I had the morenitas, GET THEM.
LT: Very chill, very laid back, and really good food. (Cool background music too.) Halibut ceviche is great and also liked the under $39/bottle wine list. Def worth checking out.
Irina Samoylova: Great menu choice, amazing atmosphere, awesome service by Brian and live music on Sundays! Definitely coming back!👍

Dipika: Love their selection of beers. Very laid back and lots of space. Cool selection of games too, and only for a quarter each
Arthur: Went back to Barcade recently - must say, the menu was MUCH improved. Beer selection wide and varied as ever. Vibe remains casual if still a bit too hipster (trends have life cycles, after all).
Carlos Flores: Cool place, great atmosphere, and diverse beer selections. Love the old school arcade games.
8. Healy's Tavern
8.2
374 Newark Ave (at 6th St), Jersey City, NJ
Bar · Historic Downtown · 18 tips and reviews
Carl Figueiredo: Neighborhood bar. Casual, cheap, and friendly. These kind of places are quickly going extinct in the downtown JC area.
Dolci Key: Great little pub to visit before a concert. The sliders were good very good. The chicken fingers are a little strange, like giant McDonald’s chicken nuggets. Overall, good bar food and casual vibe.
Jason Baughman-Oprică: Great bar in JC. Friendly bartenders and they get to know you. Good burgers and fries and nice beers on draft. A Jersey City gem.
11. CAVA

Mediterranean Restaurant · The Waterfront · 10 tips and reviews
Indra Klavins: Cava is fast casual focused on fresh delicious whole food. If the line is overwhelming, download the app and order ahead. You can even specify a pick-up time.
Enrique Sallent: Big lines at lunchtime. Use their mobile app, it works really well.
Mateen Shaikh: Cava in Jersey City is pathetic. It’s overall dirty & poorly managed. Avoid this location!
