The Daytripper: The central hub is Hermann Park which is basically Houston’s Central Park. Folks come out here to picnic, ride pedal boats, see the Japanese Gardens, go to the zoo, and roll down Miller Hill.

Social News Network: Discovery Green is a phenomenal place to see concerts. The setting is beautiful in the middle of downtown, but also spacial, which makes for not a bad picnic, either.
