This resort is a real gem. The grounds are endless, as are the activities and the selection of shops and restaurants. It’s really several hotels (towers) in one with something for every taste.
Save yourself some cash and get breakfast at the Wailana coffee house across the street. $6 all you can eat pancakes!
Save a little money by walking to the nearby ABC store and bring back snacks and beverages for in room consumption.
My favorite place to stay in Waikiki. Get an ocean view room and you’ll have front row viewing of the resort’s Friday Night Firework Show

Love the floor to ceiling windows in the rooms! Such a great view to wake up to. Take the shuttle to all the main stores and restaurants. If you’re driving out, rent a car from across the street.
Cigar friendly hotel. Not in the rooms but on the lanai ground level outside the bar. The servers will come out and serve you if you let them know you are out there having a cigar.
You can enjoy traditional Hawaiian food, authentic Japanese food and international delicacies here.
Happas Pizza great pizza and reasonable for Waikiki. Try the 3 cheese Margherita Pizza.
Unless your Japanese they treat u like crap! And SPG Platinum means nothing here unless you call & complain to SPG platinum concierge.

Get the room with Waikiki view. Staff are always friendly and willing to go extra miles. Starbucks R, Jamba Juice is just right below. ABC stores, Ross and many shops are just right at the corner

Well appointed rooms with full kitchens available. The beds are great. Easy access to pools, the beach, shops and restaurants.
Innovative/efficient elevators, only during non- checkout time range. Small pool on 3rd floor. Owner's Lounge on 3rd floor only offers coffee and ice tea. Starbucks coffee.

Really close to all the shopping and great restaurants but it’s quite a walk to the beach. It’s a very nice and clean hotel, would certainly stay here again.
If you are on a middle floor, get into the elevator regardless of the direction so that you aren’t crowded out. You could be waiting a long time otherwise with filled elevators during peak times!
Outdoor pool is very good for relaxing. Sunbeds are free and easy to order beverages
