My favorite place in Nola, just opened in summer 2013. Get the peas n rice, crispy rum ribs and butter poached Louisiana shrimp (at a a minimum), and sample many 'proto-tiki' cocktails
Stellar tiki drinks (don't be afraid to go off-menu: the bitter mai tai is amazing) and excellent food (fried ribs, corn with habanero mayo, tostones). The patio is an oasis when the weather's nice.

Go for the trifecta of fried chicken, cochon and shrimp Benedicts. Add a Bloody Mary and a mimosa and you have a superb brunch! Very busy, but if you pitch up at 2pm you should find no queue!
The cocktails are tasty and creative all our entree's were excellent maybe skip the fried chicken sandwich. Best chocolate pot de creme ever. It was an all around win

The Prix Fixe brunch was definitely the way to go, although was so much food, I split the 1st and 3rd course with my boyfriend. The Bloody Mary was the best I have ever tasted!
