Uber NYC: Great $1 oyster happy hour M-F from 5pm - 7pm. There's also 2 varieties of oyster shooters. We like the version with pickle brine. Oyster picklebacks!
Nikki 🌺: Amazing oysters -- both raw and fried. So good. Go for happy hour though for the reasonable prices.
Sarah Mackey: The happy hour from 5-7 is amazing! The oysters are the best I have ever had and only $1 each. The oyster shooters are only $5 and delicious and any of their $7 cocktails on special are fantastic!

Ki Choi: Without a doubt the omakase sushi sashimi platters are the way to go. Although not on the menu, it comes with miso soup, salad and fried oysters. A tremendous value.
Sal Lee: Oysters on the appetizer menu is a MUST. Sushi/Sashimi combo special for 1 is enough for 2 people.

Zeb Dropkin: Oyster and cocktail happy hour 5:30-7:30 every day
DoubleDeuce: Casual and quiet during the week. I imagine it's packed Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so stop by another day. The happy hour is 5:30 - 7:30 and offers half-price oysters and half-price cocktails.
Chelsea Renaud: Oyster happy hour, great drinks, and an outdoor area out back. You can actually hear the people next to you on the early side, but at midnight on a Saturday night, expect to be crammed in.

Gabriel d. A. L.: Great place! Don´t forget to ask for the unfiltered sake (Nigori). Tasty okonomiyaki and delicious giant oysters! Here you can also try a sea cucumber and stuff like a bull penis.
Alex: maybe the closest you could get to an actual izakaya in japan, but in new york. sanma, tonkatsu, yakisoba, and kaki fry (fried oysters) are delicious. $8 pitchers of sapporo! super fun & lively place.
Ina Li: Japanese sake and tapas! Try the grilled beef on the pan
