My new go-to sushi spot. The fish is so fresh and for the price, it's unbelievable. The sea urchin hand roll, baby yellowtail, and salmon are all to die for. Also, jack is the man!!
My favorite affordable neighborhood sushi spot. Salmon sashimi is amazing. All of the rolls are good as is the rock shrimp tempura, crab shumai and shisito pepper skewers!
Grilled calamari, salmon, Greek salad were so good! Free dessert (galaktoboureko) at the end too :D

Well prepared sushi, thoughtful ambiance. The white fish and shellfish pieces (Ishigaki snapper, red snapper, scallop) are excellent.

To start, I highly recommend Kusshi and Kumamoto oysters, avocado king crab roll and Black Cod appetizer. Also, you'll never go wrong with omakase.
The folks at Kanoyama are a head above the rest, with specials like hamachi carpaccio with yuzu juice and sea salt, sea conch sashimi, and Tasmanian ocean trout.

One of the most interesting openings in the past year. Hawaiian fare from Per Se chefs with no entree over $22. Standouts: crusted fluke, big eye tuna poke, pork belly, pineapple bread pudding.
Loved this place! Get the tuna poke, softshell crab, pork belly, mentaiko pasta and bread pudding to finish! Delicious and the service was good too.

Everything heres is good .One of the best mac and cheese (bacon) . Also great healthy options like Kale salad or Salmon. The fried chicken also hard to beat. And Beer!!

This is a bagel Mecca. Just get one of their special cream cheese spreads if it's your first time. The baked salmon spread is also a great choice.

Amazing food married with terrific service (at the bar!). Truly a rare combination now a days. Fettuccine is as amazing as all tips note, in addition to the squid salad and cured salmon. Salmon shown.

The staff is great. Just get the omakasa and let the sushi chefs select the best fishes of the day for you.
Three pieces from the omakase that I can't stop thinking about: perfectly seared salmon, scallop and uni, Maine uni. The sake somm is excellent.
Besides the omakase, try the uni flight from diff regions of the world and the tuna tartar where the special soy sauce is already mixed in the tuna scramble and pairs perfectly with fried seaweed.
Fav Philly restaurant hits NYC. Spicy fish tofu stew is the bomb. Get three pepper (anything) for crispy, spicy noms. Any of the noodle appetizers are yummy as well
