The yellowtail sashimi appetizer, mango four ways sushi roll, and black cod entree are the best things on the menu. This place is absolutely delicious and has the coolest female DJ on Friday nights :)

Try the Chicago pressed roll. It's a nice take on traditional sushi rolls and it comes with miso soup and a mandarin green salad. BYOB so bring a bottle of the good stuff.

A lot of non-traditional sushi, but everything was great. The pork belly appetizer and pulled pork buns were especially good.

Food was amazing especially the miso soup (one of the best I've had) and the nigiri (yellow tail and medium fatty tuna were standouts).
White Lotus roll was excellent - now my all time favorite roll anywhere. Maybe the aioli or crispy onions or both! service was great at the bar. Recommend and will be back next time I'm in chi town.

peaches on peaches on peaches is a fabulous cocktail. fries are good to start and sushi is delicious. especially the spicy tuna and yellowtail scallion.

A great group/date spot for a dressy casual hip for the Japanese cuisine. The sushi/sashimi is beyond excellent. Make sure you get yellowtail, because it will literally melt in your mouth.

Been here at least ten times, and the food is consistently good. Start with the robata: 'chicken satay' (with rice pearls), 'beef short rib', and 'shishito'. Finish with 'maguro' and 'hamachi' nigiri.

Really wonderful ramen!! Never disappointed. Good rolls to be had as well. Truly a hidden neighborhood gem.
