Chicago magazine: Comfortable no-nonsense spot has a rabid following for honest fresh maki and sashimi in creative presentations. We liked the Ahi poke, spicy white tuna crunch maki and pan-fried scallops. Read more.
C Rey: Volcano roll, Japanese fried noodle, and miso soup all good. Very quiet for a Weekend night might mean a repeat visit in order soon.
Jessica Tuquero: a sushi spot that serves fresh, no nonsense sushi. Sit at the sushi bar. The chef is friendly and helps you pick the best pieces of the day

Katie Whittles Geary: Their lunch specials are a great deal and its BYOB. Hip, but relaxed atmosphere and excellent patio when the weather allows. Presentation of the food is always so creative and of course delicious!
Raed Mansour: The Mango Maguro is real good and their "spicy" rolls really aren't that spicy but still good. Plenty of street parking. BYOB.
Kim Leshinski: The lunch menu is a great deal!
