The blonde boy who checks ID's has been rude repeatedly. This is my neighborhood bar and, I enjoy the outdoor patio as well as the frozen then fried pickles but can do without the attitude.
The pancakes are big and delicious. You will wait in line for a while but it's worth it. The food never disappoints.

Best biscuits and gravy EVER! The biscuit is perfectly soft on the inside, a lil crispy on the outside, and the gravy is so delicious! Two thumbs way up! =D
Solid pub food, great beer selection including often obscure breweries. Pretty low ceilings giving it a cosy feel, Green Door is one of the more historically relevant bars in Chicago.
Green Door Chile with lots of hot sauce washed down with a tall hum & soda will cure the common cold.
I don't know first hand but I hear the urinals are extremely tall. Best used by those 5' 9" or taller.

I absolutely love this place. The waitress was so warm and friendly and the food. My gosh, the chicken wings, biscuits, peach cobbler, fried pork chops anything ordered was GREAT

Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast. Everything was done to perfection in the 2x2x2x2 meal. No kidding. Great location for business at Ogilvie. Bright ambience.
