Being a regular since they were on Milwaukee Ave, here are some of my favorites: ox tail (entrées part), zacappa xo (plus all other rums, of course - this is the only bar rum I know of, in Chicago)

Great rum selection, well made and creative cocktails (that thankfully weren't too sweet), relaxing vibe, and friendly bartenders. I'd definitely go back.
Line can be long outside but it goes fast. Get the banana daiquiri, it comes with a banana dolphin!

Amazing food and mojitos! Highly recommend the guava mojitos. If you get plantain chips, ask for a side of mojo (pronounced moe-hoe) to dip in! You wont be disappointed!
The chicken dish with mashed sweet potatoes& plantanes is absolutely DELISH!! But the habanero sauce that comes with BE FOREWARNED it is extremely hot! A little truly goes a long way! Great mojitos!
BONUS: 2 tips for the price of one. First, the coconut mojito is very creamy and tasty. Second, don't be fooled - a small order of guacamole is plenty if you plan to eat anything else.

Get the fried pork dinner. Huge portion of perfectly fried fatty pork. Platano shake is great, bring some rum to add to it.
This beautiful BYOB joint has some of *the* most authentic Cuban grub. You're a fool if you don't get empanadas to start. And the churrasco is a great entree to combat all the rum in your system.

The Pepino and Guava margaritas are a must try! The watermelon mojito is also very refreshing! Perfect summer drinks.
