Matthew Supert: When ice skating bring your own skates. Rentals can take up to an hour to wait.
Michael Bottigliero: Ice skate in the winter, beer garden in the summer. Park Grill, the "Bean", Park Grill, Pritzker Pavillion- free bands and festivals. What's not to like? Read more.
Katy Thompson: Come for the bean, stay for the ice skating. Ingress players can enjoy several portals in the park.
Merrie Bunt: Bring your own skates and take the BP bridge from millennium park to another entrance to the ribbon.
Ian Arsenault: The ribbon is 1/4 mile long and has a 2% grade. Admission is free. Skate rental is $12. Lockers are $1 via assigned magnetic key card. All lockers are approximately 1 cubic foot.
Patrick Buggy: Check the Zamboni times before you get there; it takes 30-60 minutes for them to run it, so you'll have to wait around.
Cheryl H: Free street parking for general public. Not best neighborhood, though, so don't leave anything of value in sight in your car when parking. Bathrooms only avail on 3rd floor.

Theodore Huff: Ice skating is a joke. It's a small rink and it's plastic, not ice. It's also 7 dollars on top of the admission fee.
