This park is small but has something for everyone. A walk along the river, hills for picnics, a lot of benches for reading, a dog park, a playground for kids and it is near restaurants.

This place was really good food but it took over 2 hours on a Wednesday evening to get our appetizers. Thankfully it's BYOB so by the time the food came we were too tipsy to realise how long it took..
If it's not Sticky Rice, than it's Thai Room. Best northern Thai in Chicago. Warm and inviting (just remodeled!) venue, authentic dishes, and reasonable prices. A million/10.
Make sure to try the fried tofu and Tom yum soup! Their roast duck is delicious as well.
