The chicken tortilla soup is really good. Get a side of Mexican cheese for 50 cents and add some medium green salsa. Mix. Eat. Trust me.
Carbon serves a killer carne asada taco, though the fried fish taco is also surprisingly good.
By far the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The chicken is absolutely vile. Extremely fatty/tendony. Leave.

I would ignore the complaint about the beer being expensive, while miller lite is $4, all beer is $4 as well. So stop drinking beer flavored water and drink better quality beer :)

Nice but kind of overpriced. Good strawberry margaritas. Server said a pitcher was “just five dollars more” than 2 margs and wow I’m a sucker, that was nowhere near true.

Have become a taco "connoisseur" as of late and the fish tacos here are some of the best that I've tried. Terrific little neighborhood stop just off the Brown Line.
Cheap drinks on Saturdays. Fish tacos are pretty good. Nice people.

The lobster nachos are the greatest thing to have ever blessed mankind. If you come here and you don't get them, you're doing life wrong. The turkey burger was also pretty good.

Get the #14 Combination plate. You can't go wrong (if you're a meat eater that is) It gives you a chance to taste everything and is well worth the money.

Similar to big star but less hipster! Tequila shots comes in s melting ice shot glass that you throw at a bell. Food is good, but overpriced. Service on patio was slow.
