Chicago Tribune: On Next's new "Bistro" menu, the evening begins for all with an oeuf a la Beran, a solitary eggshell containing a lovely bit of egg custard, ground chicharrones and thyme-scented breadcrumbs. Read more.
Tracy Martorello: I love that everyone is consumed with #superbowl2012 & I'm consumed with caviar, butter and a lot of wine.

Time Out Chicago: Old-school classics are prepared well; we like the frog legs with garlic butter, “clams casino” (baked clams topped with bread crumbs and bacon) and smoked salmon—heat-smoked rather than cured. Read more.
Joe H: They put crab ON the swordfish. They put crab in the Mac and Cheese. They put crab in the asparagus. My waiter was an Alaskan King Crab. If you have the means, I highly recommend it. So choice.

Eliza: Pick up an arancini (or two) to eat ASAP and don't forget the vodka sauce to take home.
Alison P: Best place for bulk fresh pasta in Chicago, bar none. If the minestrone is available, grab a quart as well.
Marty Colchamiro: Fantastic fresh pasta and ravioli. The sign says it best: Fresh Pasta
Dan Pyatetsky: One of the most memorable pizzas I’ve had. Everything was surprisingly under-seasoned but it was still excellent. Walk in the Woods tasted great once we added salt, and Where’s Ruby was the favorite.
Christopher Floss: The best #pizza in #streeterville! Over twenty years in the making to perfect their crust. The meatballs are worth a try, too!!!
Magda Brej: We stumbled upon this place after the architecture tour, great thin crust pizza!

Ramsen: The Aloe it’s Me drink is probably best on the menu. Spicy and sweet. Shawarma and the hummus are awesome too (shawarma is basically a sliced steak and not actually shawarma but still fantastic).
Miro Vejchoda: Great food and atmosphere
Bianca: The perfect place for an afternoon bite. All the dishes are fresh and tasty-spreads served with warm pita, slices of beef, grilled brussels sprouts. The octopus was disappointing (too mushy)

Lynn Abate-Johnson: Try the Broccoli Rabe - #local grown, served w burrata, breadcrumbs & salsa criolla #foodiechats.
Phil Watson: The chef’s menu is the way to go. Something like 8-10 dishes + dessert makes for an amazing selection from one of the best kitchens in Chicago.
Jeff Siarto: have the pork rinds.
