Nicole Duhoski: Love this place. I'm still on the hunt for a better bagel in Chicago, but it was better than most. Everything else is delicious. Matzo ball soup, corned beef, breakfast hashbrowns-yum.
GourmetLive: If you only order a bagel at The Bagel you’re thinking too literally—and missing out on this deli’s true specialty, Kreplach, which are robust, beef-filled dumplings.
Cory Tiffin: Best bagel in town. Best bagel in Chicagoland? Once Upon a Bagel in Highland Park.

Cindy Ella: Had the Manhattan bagel and almond milk latte. Both were really good. The bagel was definitely fresh and the latte was made really well. They even brought a piece of bacon for my dog❤️
Tim Chen: Excellent coffee and some unique food options (try the fig jam bagel!) and friendly staff in a casual environment (looks like a bar for some reason lol). What's not to like?
Gianna Nebbia: Breakfast sandwiches are great. Ask for extra ice in your iced coffee if you don't like when it all melts in just a few minutes. Tasty coffee!
