My favorite donut shop in the city! Classic no frills donuts. They don't need gimmicks because they're always fresh and delicious. Still has a charming mom and pop feel despite the location.
Gelato that is as close to true Italian ice cream as you’re going to get in NYC – try the Cassata Siciliana, the Cannella or the Olio d’Oliva. All the flavors are great!

Their red velvet was delicious! I enjoyed their cinnamon bun, Santa chocolate filled, and custard filled donut. It was my first time at a Krispy Kreme and was expecting a more creative selection.
This is the only KK in New York. The glazed and Boston cream are my favorite. Best sure to nuke them for 15sec before you eat them!

The "bomb" dessert made my birthday perfect. Edamame dumplings are amazing as well.
Rockin shrimp is mouth watering. Edamame dumplings are really good. Lobster fried rice is a must. And to sum it up, Crying Chocolate was one of the best desserts that I have ever had!!

Specializing in traditional and Latin American sweets, they have an absolutely incredible flan. It's nicely jiggly and has a slick of caramel on top -- what more could you ask for in a custard?

My personal favorite creation--Speckloos Overload Waffle: Liege waffle w/Speckloos, Speckloos ice cream, Biscoff crumbs, and powdered sugar. A real treat!

Wine Director gives great recs. Favorites are Fish & Chips (lightly fried fish, yum cole slaw and big potato wedges) and S'mores dessert, SO GOOD!
The menu here changes all the time... But right now (Oct, 2013) at Cookshop I would get the swordfish and the bluefish (yum), and the apple pie is superb.

Real house-made Italian gelato and sorbetto. The espresso is also outstanding. The combination of espresso and one scoop of gelato make one of the most delicious "affogato" you can find in NYC.

Was a fan of midtown location but downtown trumps it in ambience, decor and somehow palate. Sea bass skewers - amazing. Black cod- amazing. Dessert- amazing. Get the point?!!! Go!
