Try the traditional tikka masala, or my favorite, the lightly battered cod on Garbanzos. Another, the cauliflower appetizer! Their rice and garlic naan are delicious. Great vegetarian options.

the penguin never closed. it was plucked out of the plaza midwood earth and transplanted on moreehead, given a gold blinged out chain and set up shop under a vw bug or two. same great fried treats!

Best place to get dessert. Beyond the churros, conchas, buñuelos and pandequeso are wonderfully light passion fruit cakes, fruit tarts and outstanding flan. You can buy cakes by the slice or whole. Read more.
Great empanadas and papa rellenas. The churros withers caramel in the middle are the best I've ever had.

Great dollar tacos, but NO consistency with what tacos are actually a dollar. Half the time vegetarian tacos are a part of the deal, and sometimes they're not. Make up your mind mija!

Sushi that meets NYC's quality standards (don't blame me if you're a west coaster and are hating). Toro was high quality, as were oysters and veggies we ordered. Next time: ribs, cod, ice cream
Bison and creamed spinach were excellent. Filet was very large and tasty. Tomato mozzarella and caesar salads were both really tasty too.
Oenophiles, there is a really versatile wine list with good choices at many price points.
Try the banana walnut tartlet for dessert, but get it with chocolate sauce. Delicious!
