Was a bit hesitant to try the crabcakes - I'm from Maryland...we're always suspect of crabcakes outside of the Chesapeake. Poogans' crabcakes are GREAT - different from what you'd expect in Maryland
The turkey wings, collard greens, lima beans, fried gizzards, pork chop, green beans, and mac and cheese are all well seasoned and delicious!

The house omelet with grilled zucchini, mushrooms & pepperjack cheese was delicious. A side of fruit after to cleanse the palate.
The French toast, bacon, omelettes, home fries. Take your pick and the people are so friendly. To have great fresh food and great service is the best. I always come here when in Charleston.

Everything I tried was excellent... from the Sweet Tea Wings to the green chili pineapple macaroni salad! I will be back often!
