Amazing sushi. Extremely fresh fish. The chef puts a really creative spin on presentation but the traditional Japanese flavors are all there. I recommend the yellowtail scallion sushi bomb 😗👌.
Try the Ryoan for a unique, small dish and get the Pork Betty - the sauce is outstanding.

Tuna top & bottom, octopus in middle. All in very cream based sauces (not sure why since the fish was great quality). If ordering octopus, make sure you're familiar w the sauce, def an acquired taste

In this neighborhood this is your best option by a long shot. They serve with alot of saucy flare, very creamy additions to their sushi. Tasty none the less. Low in calories? I doubt it.
Udon with shrimp and vegetable tempera was excellent! The udon noodles were especially good.
Staff Pick! Stephanie (Education): Gen has high-quality, fresh sushi at good prices. The patio out back is a lovely spot for dining in the spring and summer. Enjoy the green or red bean ice cream.
