Looking for skolebrød? Get there early! While I'm not crazy about the cookies/cakes, (I prefer City Bakery-style sweets, pliable with sugar and butter), the bread is second-to-none; especially rye.

Classic Brooklyn bagel shop, perfect for a breakfast sandwich. You can't go wrong with the bacon, egg and cheese. If you want to try something a little different, opt for the Smoked Fish Bagel.
While this isn't the closest liquor store to me on N3rd, it's by far the best selection of bourbon, rye, gin and other spirits in North Brooklyn. I'll gladly continue to make the extra trek down here
