The best record store I've been to in New York. Fantastic selections of secondhand records in very good condition. I bought a whole lot of disco 12" for extremely fair prices (most for just $3).

The records here are really well curated. Not much indie rock, lots of jazz / electronic / etc.

Really cool little shop, with a nice range of stuff ranging from cheap guilty pleasures to obscure imports and solid classics. Totally worth the 5 minute walk from the L.

Good pricING, horrible priceTAGS. Get ready with the goo-gone & kleenex: the tags stick badly to the covers. The kleenex are for when you feel like crying because you just ruined all your LP jackets.
A great mix of everything (but they should remove old/former price stickers, since they tend to charge more).
If you're lucky, you swing by on a night with live music. Call and ask and don't forget to bring beer.

Jason is the man! Music matters have the latest releases in which are not found in Manhattan. Ma favourite in Brooklyn. Not near ma neighborhood but worth the trip. Support your local record shop.
