The pastas live up to the hype; we tried the daily meat ragu, a vegetable cheesse tortellini, and the clam spaghetti, all delicious and perfectly cooked. The two homemade pasta were the best.
The owner is a sweetheart! Definitely don't miss Grandma's Ragu with the homemade pappardelle.

Fresh pappardelle with lamb ragu and a kickass chianti when it's 7degrees out can't be beat. Walked in at 830pm with no issues for a party of 4.

The mushrooms are the best appetizer I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to save your amuse-bouche to mix in with them. The duck ragu is fantastic. So is everything else.

The food here is so good, you'll want to kiss your waiter. Impossible to go wrong, but I love love love the papardelle with lamb ragu.
All wines are available by the glass or bottle. A long selection of orange wines. Fresh homemade pasta with ragu was very good.
We had a vermouth, the octopus, terrelle al ragu, and an orange wine recommended by the waiter. Everything was amazing!
Bolognese is a must. Some of the best I've ever had. Get a quartino of multipulciano too. Parpadelle with short rib ragu is a close second.

All of the pasta is made fresh. I had a great maltagliati with white sausage ragù; the agnolotti was also amazing.
Incredible, homemade Italian food in a beautiful, intimate setting. Their pasta is incredible. Try the olive oil cake for dessert.
Sea bass, risotto, and short rib ragu are delicious
The homemade pastas were great, short rib ragu over duck ragu. Staff was nice but super slow and disorganized. Appetizer came before the drinks!
Try one of the many risottos — they're homemade and well-priced. For starters, creative salads abound — we love the one with grilled corn, fire-roasted peppers, avocado, arugula and shaved parmigiano.
Sign up for the tasting menu. Too bad they only hold these once per season – but well worth it! The Tagliatelle al Ragu is delicious!
Get the duck or monkfish ragu
This place is so delicious. Maybe the best traditional, rustic Italian food I've had in NYC. The baccala and leeks over chick peas is wonderful. For wine, you can't go wrong with Rosso di Montalcino.

Some of the best Italian you will have in New York. Start with the beet salad (with arugula, orange and fennel) and get the cavatelli and lasagna. That's what we did and it was amazing.

All the pastas are great and cooked perfectly al dente. I’m partial especially to the Pappardelle Bolognese and the Pipette Ragu.
I almost always stop here when in this area. Super quick and absolutely delicious, house-made pasta. Great portion sizes. I keep getting the pipette ragu because it’s soo good.

Delicious food albeit on high calorie side - pizza, calzones, fries. A couple salad choices but would love to see baked chicken or grilled fish. Too much pizza already in neighborhood.
