Barbara Jiang: Soft shell crab was out of this world!! Loved the tripe, cold noodles, and squid as well! Def go with the Sichuan dishes- amazing!!
Jesse Lane: You already know to get the soup dumplings. I recommend skipping the entrée and getting as many dim sum plates/small plates as possible. Sweet & Sour short-ribs and Sichuan cold noodles were great
Jesse Krieger: Kung pow chicken, Chinese broccoli, fried pork buns, cold noodles

Ben K.: Really solid new Chinese spot in the burg with great cocktails. Pretty sure the entire menu is great but try the soup dumplings, cold sesame noodles, mapo dofu, and crispy garlic chicken.
Rami Haykal-Manning: Soup dumplings were spot on, better than any other ones in the area. Cold Noodles were similar to those of Mission Chinese. Garlic chicken was tasty but a bit hard to eat. Spring rolls were ok.
Bram Hubbell: The cold sesame noodles and the mock eel are incredible! Lots of vegan options!

Alex Ravenel: Decent, not great Sichuan. Dan Dan noodles were very good, but cold noodles were of the takeout variety. Cumin beef was a bit bland. Chong King chicken was better.
Kim F: Wontons in hot oil, Dan Dan noodles, string beans with pork, mapo tofu. Be sure to order the Sichuan dishes as they’re so flavorful, even the won ton soup is delicate and delicious — best in the area!
Village Voice: We love wontons laked in red oil and the cumin-dusted julienne of lamb topped with sesame seeds. Read more.

Grace Icon: Their tofu ramen is not vegetarian, their vegan ramen is a cold noodle salad. Go for a hot sake toddy instead!
timoni west: Scallop roll and cold noodle. Done. Only get the taco set if you're feeling frisky. Well, do ya?
Samantha Dolgoff: Cold noodles were amazing!

Tom Martyn: Good for dates, cozy af. Everything was very good - super Jew egg, teriyaki duck wings, challa, and cold noodles.
Taline Ekmekjian: The Jew egg (egg in falafel with tsatsiki sauce), the tuna with black tahini, the lamb ribs and the challah caramel popcorn bread budding!

Oliver Huang: The Traditional Breakfast brought me back to Japan. Try it if you've spent time living in Japan or want to embrace traditional food, it's not easy to find! Yaki-salmon, unagi-maki, kinpira, and NATTO!
BrooklynMuseum: Staff Pick! Stephanie (Education): Gen has high-quality, fresh sushi at good prices. The patio out back is a lovely spot for dining in the spring and summer. Enjoy the green or red bean ice cream.
Doris Neubauer: This is really the best sushi in all of Brooklyn. It's served the way it should and always go for the Chef special.
