Really solid new Chinese spot in the burg with great cocktails. Pretty sure the entire menu is great but try the soup dumplings, cold sesame noodles, mapo dofu, and crispy garlic chicken.
Soup dumplings were spot on, better than any other ones in the area. Cold Noodles were similar to those of Mission Chinese. Garlic chicken was tasty but a bit hard to eat. Spring rolls were ok.
The cold sesame noodles and the mock eel are incredible! Lots of vegan options!
Spicy tingly beef noodles are great for winter. Get A1 cold noodles in the summer.
I've eaten here more than anywhere else. Spicy cumin lamb or Liang Pi Cold Noodles (A1) are the best.

Decent, not great Sichuan. Dan Dan noodles were very good, but cold noodles were of the takeout variety. Cumin beef was a bit bland. Chong King chicken was better.
Wontons in hot oil, Dan Dan noodles, string beans with pork, mapo tofu. Be sure to order the Sichuan dishes as they’re so flavorful, even the won ton soup is delicate and delicious — best in the area!

Staff Pick! Stephanie (Education): Gen has high-quality, fresh sushi at good prices. The patio out back is a lovely spot for dining in the spring and summer. Enjoy the green or red bean ice cream.
