This Georgia boy found the best fried chicken, rice & beans, greens & cornbread. Peach cobbler to die for. Glorious scene. Definitely returning next year. I just wish my mom could have experienced.
What an amazing display of African cultures in Brooklyn. The food, the music, the people, the love, the smells, everything. make sure you give yourself @least 2 days to get to all the booths.

Th martinis and the Brussels sprouts are out of this world the bomb!!! :) also the blueberry cobbler is sinfully delish! Ask to add vanilla ice cream with it!

Amazing soul food, big portions for sides, nice people. Drunken turkey and mac/cheese are delicious. The cobbler is wonderful also.
Staff is friendly. Mac and cheese is always on point! Sometimes it's crowded, but the staff hustles so you are never really waiting long. Good choice for southern food! You won't be disappointed!

get the fried green tomatoes with bacon...mmmm. And you really can't go wrong with either the fried chicken or the tilapia...and the peach cobbler for dessert. I love this place!!
The grilled pork chop is really good. If you order a caesar, be advised it comes w/ tomatoes! :-/ Other than that, VERY GOOD FOOD!

The very overpriced tip is incorrect. I found it to be very reasonable and cheaper than the others on the area. Whole grain bagel w lox spread $3.
Lox with a sliver of cream cheese is like heaven between two pieces of fresh baked & cut bagel. I have not tasted better lox then this place.
We got the steak tartare, filet mignons, asparagus, and creamed spinach. Everything was good.

I think the real reason I love these doughnuts so much is because they don't have that weird lard-y aftertaste dunkin has. That is why vegan doughnuts are better.
I always come back here for the bagels and shmear! I also enjoy their soups and the "create your own salad" option. Their iced cappuccino is pretty good too!
