If you know South Indian food you'll know this is legit. Even the chutneys are obviously made in house & of rare quality. Valuable addition to an otherwise poor scene for authentic Indian in Brooklyn.
It's not mind blowing dosa or chutney types , but for those craving it's a moderately good fix #cashOnly

This place has the best chicken I've ever had. Always tender and tons of flavor. Order the half chicken spicy (not that spicy) with mango chutney and the veggy of the day. It's a big order for one.
Briny, succulent grilled chicken with crunchy skin. Treat yourself to a few sauces like mango chutney and the lemon parsley.
As someone who prides himself on being a rotisserie chicken connoisseur, the birds here are top notch. The whole wheat mac and cheese + chopped salad make for a great combo.

Garlic naan, seekh kebab, chicken tikka masala, and tamarind chutney were all excellent. The saag paneer was a little bland though. Overall nice ambience and a great meal.
I can no longer visit this place because it was recently shut down by the health department.

Best Israeli brunch in NYC (or a close second to Café Orlin) - worth a decent wait on 5th Ave. Burekas are not to be missed. Don't be afraid to opt for a pita sandwich like the Sabich (pictured here).

Kept it simple with the Chicken curry. The chutneys pushed the dish to above average. My wife had chicken biranyi. Way too much rice. I'll be back for more
Its a solid and authentic Indian resturant. It has a plethora of modern Indian dishes and a calm decor. The service is friendly and laid back. Vindaloo curry is potent !

Best selection of cheeses. Great place for sandwiches. All their products are high quality. Owners and staff are fantastic and very knowledgeable. A gem of a place!

Some of the best Italian you will have in New York. Start with the beet salad (with arugula, orange and fennel) and get the cavatelli and lasagna. That's what we did and it was amazing.

One of the best Mexican restaurants ever! Their food is extremely good and creative, flavors are rich (although not as spicy as in Mexico), and their service is impeccable.
Strong margs, tacos and huevos rancheros are good. Don’t get the breakfast quesadilla, it’s extremely tiny.

This cute gem in Brooklyn within walks to the Barclay Center is excellent. Clean and simpler deco, friendly services, cheap eats (20% at lunch), and wonderful home cooking like dishes. A must try!!

Vegetable tandoori is where it's at (the menu doesn't mention it comes with a ton of delicious grilled cheese cubes).
Seriously some of the best bagels in the city. I have it as a tie with Bagel Factory, which is less chewy & more flavorful. But the cream cheese & softness of the bagels keep me coming back.
